Position: Industrial Hygiene Professional

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000

Location: San Diego, Orange, or Los Angeles Counties, California - We're open to candidates from outside the area and offer relocation assistance!

What You'll Do:



  • Dynamic Work - Enjoy a blend of office and field tasks, handling industrial hygiene and safety projects.
  • Collect & Test - Sample noise, water, air, and materials to ensure environmental compliance.
  • Conduct Assessments - Lead chemical and noise exposure evaluations and investigate air quality.
  • Analyze & Report - Gather and interpret critical data, with comprehensive project reporting.
  • Strengthen Safety Plans - Audit and enhance facility safety practices.
  • Manage Hazards - Assess and manage hazardous materials like asbestos and lead-based paint.
  • Emergency Response - Play a key role in responses to natural disasters.
  • Commit to Safety - Uphold safe practices in every project.

What We Need from You:



  • Driving Requirements - Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and personal vehicle.
  • Educational Background - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Toxicology, or a related field, with a strong grasp of relevant regulations.
  • Certification - California Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) required; Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) preferred.
  • Experience - At least 2 years' experience in asbestos, lead paint, and mold surveys and abatement oversight.
  • Additional EHS Expertise - Background in exposure and risk assessments, indoor air quality, legionella investigations, noise monitoring, or similar EHS services.
  • Independence & Guidance - Confidence working independently with oversight from a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
  • Reporting Skills - Strong ability to create detailed, accurate reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Career Development - Eager to expand through certifications, continuing education, and cross-training in areas like compliance audits, Phase I ESAs, stormwater inspections, and environmental sampling.
