Major Duties Classification: Non-Exempt, Bargaining Performs work that involves visual inspection of predefined construction areas and reading and interpretation of utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities. Detects and locates copper and fiber telephone lines/cables using special electronic equipment. Use assigned communication equipment to effectively communicate with excavators, utility representatives, and company personnel, regarding underground facilities. Qualifications Must possess a valid state driver's license, be an insurable driver and have a satisfactory driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Must pass aptitude testing and physical standards Computer skills required.
