The Southeastern Center of Robotics Education is excited to announce the recruitment of a Program Administrator. This role supports SCORE's growth while upholding the center's mission. This role involves planning, implementing, evaluating, and reporting robotics competitions, student camps, and teacher professional development related to educational robotics.

Essential Functions |
- Participate in day-to-day operations of the Southeastern Center of Robotics Education (SCORE), including planning and implementing robotics competitions, camps, and student and teacher training programs at Auburn University related to land-based, water-based, and air-based robotics, particularly for the K-12 sector.
- Collaborate with multiple units and faculty partners across the AU campus and external stakeholders to accomplish the mission of the Center.
- Develop and teach age-appropriate robotics-related curriculum for a broad audience, including K-12 students and teachers. Provide technical support for all stakeholders as needed and as requested.
- Assist the Assistant Director of SCORE in identifying existing program needs or new program opportunities. Assist with the planning and implementation of new programs.
- Advise and support the Director and Assistant Director in identifying and pursuing grant and extramural funding opportunities. Consult K-12 school personnel on project design and implementation and curriculum development. Stimulate the outreach community to pursue opportunities by cultivating contacts and keeping the outreach community informed of funding opportunities.
- Assist in working with the VEX Robotics Community in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi to include responsibilities such as maintaining regular communication with Event Partners and coaches, providing event support on-site or on-call, maintaining event partner's and coaches' websites, and maintaining program, travel, and expense reports.
- Maintain Center's equipment, including robots and robotics kits, drones, 3-D printers, CNC machine, Glow Forge, sublimation machine, tournament support equipment, etc. Advise Assistant Director of equipment needs in a timely manner. Ensure equipment for off-site activities and events (tournaments, trainings, camps, etc) is operational, prepared for travel, packed appropriately for transportation to event, and returned to inventory at conclusion of event.

Level I - Bachelor's Degree in Education, Engineering, Math Education, Science Field or Related Field with no years of relevant experience.
Level II - Bachelor's Degree in Education, Engineering, Math Education, Science Field or Related Field with two years of relevant experience in design, implementation, delivery and management of educational programs/services. |
Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications
Minimum Skills and Abilities |
- Some knowledge of computer programming/coding and educational robotics platforms
- Knowledge of national and state-based curriculum standards
- Proven ability to develop and implement K-12 STEM outreach/education programs, mainly related to educational robotics.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities; excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster and maintain positive professional relationships with appropriate stakeholders (faculty, industry sponsors, teachers, K-12 and higher administrators).
- Positive disposition and work well with others, especially children.
