Work Schedule |

Primary Purpose of Position |
This position provides general administrative faculty support in the School of Nursing. This position has a variety of clerical, reporting and administrative assignments and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and computer competency. |
Minimum Education/Experience |
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and three years of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience. |
Essential Job Duties |
In collaboration with
SON leadership duties will include:
- Responsibility for accurately and expeditiously creating graduate and undergraduate course schedules.
- Securing classrooms.
- Processing all paperwork for full-time and part-time hires, participating in on boarding new faculty. Purchasing and processing faculty travel.
- Assigning advisors.
- Participating in and providing coordination and support for student events.
- Serving as the primary contact for accessing community space in the simulation lab.

Other Work Responsibilities |
- Must complete PAC training within first two years of employment.
- Other duties as assigned.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education |
- Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and three years of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience. (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- Experience in Microsoft and Google Suite needed; Advanced knowledge and skills in use of the Microsoft Office Suite of software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) preferred.
- Experience in Banner student and finance, Canvas or other learning management system preferred.
- Experience with the University as it pertains to internal structures and processes preferred.
- Experience and proven record in organizational records and technology, problem solving, resourcefulness, and effective communication skills both written and oral are necessary.
- Ability to work independently, a high level of professionalism, customer service orientation, and an understanding of confidentiality needed and preferred.
- Strong attention to details.
