Electrical Manufacturing Technician

Location: Irvine, TX

Long term contract (12 months could go longer)

Pay: up to 40/HR

We are seeking candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in PLC basics, equipment troubleshooting, and fundamental knowledge of robotics, controls, sensors, and cylinders.


This position will troubleshoot equipment, (labelers, customized equipment, electrical motors etc.) in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities



  • Fundamental knowledge of Robotics, Controls, Sensors, and Cylinders.
  • PLC basics for troubleshooting; experience /knowledge in controls, electronics, and electricity.
  • Advanced mechanic skills to support electrical diagrams & troubleshooting.
  • Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines and systems.
  • Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Routinely checks machinery and systems for signs of fault to prevent or minimize downtime interruptions.
  • Initiates improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Documents repairs and makes recommendations on future maintenance.


Education/Knowledge


A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required

Associate's or technical degree preferred.

Strong Electrical knowledge

Reading blueprints and diagrams


NIGHT SHIFT: (Rotational Shift) (5 PM to 5 AM) NIGHT SHIFT PAYS A PREMIUM


1st week - Sunday through Wednesday

2nd week - Wednesday through Saturday


The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
