How You'll Perform the Role

Position Summary: Provides timely and efficient technical support troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintenance of machinery/equipment throughout the assigned manufacturing facility. Under guidance of Plant Maintenance Manager, serves as point person for most difficult maintenance issues.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:



  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and industry regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Collaborates with the safety team to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Diagnoses and performs repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components integrated into our controls systems; serves as contact point for escalated maintenance problems.
  • Assists in development of capital projects.


  • Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas for management or maintenance staff.
  • Verifies that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards.
  • Recommends modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
  • Stay updated on latest advancements in control system technology and automation and may attend vendor training for any new or existing equipment, as necessary.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, production managers and team members, and other technicians, to support projects and resolve issues promptly.

What We Need From You

Candidate Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED; technical degree/some college preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance/production environment.
  • Electrical training/experience with 480 3 phases/machine controls - preferred.
  • Experience with VFD Drives and PLCs a plus.
  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
  • Previous work experience in mechanical, electrical and/or experience in manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating forklift equipment: forklift certification (will certify on site)
  • Familiar with all OSHA and GMP standards & requirements
  • Strong computer and math skills; experience with work order/inventory systems preferred i.e., SAP.
  • Demonstrated mechanical/analytical skills; ability to interpret/create engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
