Acara Solutions has partnered with our client in Simi Valley, CA for an Integration and Field Technician role.
This role will require up to 40% travel, both domestic and international, with travel times ranging from 1 week to 2 months in the field. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a US DoD Secret Clearance upon request.
Work Schedule: 9x80, OT eligible
Pay Rate: 52.15/hr, plus expenses
Temp-to-Hire, Minimum 90 day conversion
Our Client is seeking an Integration and Field Technician level C to join our team in providing worldwide Integration and Field testing of Satellite tracking ground stations from .5 -22 Meters in Diameter to support in house and worldwide testing, troubleshooting, integration, Factory acceptance and On-Site acceptance tests.
Essential Functions:
The Integration and Field Technician C duties include but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for the worldwide integration and field testing to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and evaluation of Satellite tracking ground station equipment and components for both Factory and On Site Acceptance Test Procedures. Equipment consists of both new equipment and upgrades along with performing Preventative maintenance
  • Utilize electronic test and measurement equipment to support general laboratory operations.
  • Assemble, configure, test, operate, and repair hardware in accordance with documentation provided.
  • Perform benchtop RF testing with only the guidance of a test procedure and understands what the procedure is testing.
  • Understanding of Analog/digital Electronics and microprocessor-based control systems
  • Collect test data for review and analysis. Document equipment failures through designated reporting tools.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and RF troubleshooting as required.
  • Provide documentation support, such as minor edits to existing procedures and/or technical drawings.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to manager.
  • Support facility operations through the completion of assigned tasks as directed by management.
  • Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify processes.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience in either Electronics Maintenance or RF Systems Maintenance or
2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
2 years experience with AC/DC electronics and relevant tools
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Current and valid US Passport
Ability to obtain US DoD Secret clearance
Ability to handle working at heights of up to 50ft
