Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role
- Represents the Section Manager as Lead for Logistic Support Personnel
- Represents the Section Manager as required with our Customer for logistics management contracts
- Coordinate and be liaison between the Spares, TAP & LCB teams with obsolesce and ECPs for consistency across teams.
- Managing of day-to-day relationships with multiple internal departments and external government customers, including risk mitigation elements of the program.
- Demonstrates active contribution in leading and managing logistics supply management for contracts from proposal through closeout to meet cost, schedule and performance requirements as outlined in applicable contract scope of work.
- Develops and maintains metrics to monitor performance and implement solutions for corrective actions regarding our product/project ensuring the solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
- Lead and manage all required CDRLs, reports, worksheets and documents as per contractual guidance as required.
- Resolve complex problems involving diverse, conflicting, incomplete data, requiring significant analysis, ingenuity, and independent thought.
Qualifications Sought
- Must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited University. Business preferred.
- Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience related to logistics supply product or operational management.
- Experience in the manufacturing and/or delivery of military equipment, supply parts, or vehicles.
- Experience with Oracle or related material requirements planning (MRP) systems to understand material planning concepts.
- Must be capable of obtaining a NACI/ Security Clearance
- Must be capable of business travel (10%) annually & possibly austere environment for contingency operations.
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word, Power Point, Access) suite required.
- Must be capable of communicating in both written and verbal modes at the management level.
- Must be customer focused and action oriented.
- Must have excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow-through to completion.
- Must be able to work independently or within a team with little or no direction (self-starter).
