Description
Summary
The Shipping & Receiving Team Member is responsible for coordinating with the Logistic Coordinator and Plant Manager/Production Manager to ensure all orders are pulled, packaged and shipped correctly. Additionally, this position is responsible for unloading, inspecting and ensuring correct counts on products received. The shipping & Receiving Team Member is also responsible for product management including organization and accurate inventory of warehouse. All Production Team members are responsible for general housekeeping and safety of their work areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Follow company policies & procedures, including guidelines/instructions set by the Plant Manager and follow and adhere to established safety rules.
2. Maintain adequate job performance to satisfy order requests, shipping fulfillment, and receiving of material/products.
3. Accurately pull orders by counts, weight, measurements, etc. of outgoing shipments, comparing information against the work order and bill of lading.
4. Ongoing general housekeeping of work area and organization in the warehouse.
5. Safe and efficient operation of forklift, pallet wrapper, and cut table and other necessary equipment and machinery, including proper loading and offloading of material and products.
6. Assist Plant Manager in weekly, monthly and yearend inventory counts.
7. Consistent physical activity, including but not limited to standing for extended periods of time, lifting/carrying 55 pounds, bending, squatting, climbing on/off equipment or other physical requirements.
8. Identify and recognize finished product.
9. Engage in clear, consistent and professional communication between Logistics Coordinator, Plant Manager/Production Manager, Drivers and other Production Team Members.
10. Look for ways to minimize waste.
11. Remain conscious of quality improvements and report any concerns to Plant Manager/Production Manager as they arise.
12. Other duties that may be assigned by Plant Manager.

Education and/or Experience
* High school diploma required
* Must be a minimum of 18 years old
* Forklift experience required Travel
