ABOUT YOU

You are a person who loves to manage various accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue and asset accounting, as well as associated analysis and reporting. We need someone who will assist with the production of accurate financial reports, a comprehensive set of internal controls, and monthly & quarterly state and local tax reporting. In the role of Accounting Manager, you'll be responsible for coordination with our CPA firm for filing of annual tax returns, year-end review procedures and 401K audit procedures. ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Provide oversight and support for daily operations of accounting department.
  • Provide support for month-end and year-end financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards.
  • Evaluate and make improvements to accounting processes while ensuring that practices comply with organizational accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide mentoring, team building and associate professional development.
  • Support an effective internal control environment and management of all financial aspects.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports as requested.
  • Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Provide oversight and support for the preparation/submission of federal and state tax filings and annual reports, as well as applicable tax credits.
  • Provide oversight and support for review procedures performed by external accounting firm.
  • Support outsourced functions such as taxes, insurance, and 401K.
  • Assist with merger and acquisition activity including due diligence and integration efforts.
  • Perform other ad hoc projects as necessary.



Position Requirements:



  • 5+ years' experience in a business accounting role.
  • 1-3 years of management / supervisory experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Personal traits of high-level commitment, motivation, energy, team orientation, professionalism, trust, personal honesty and integrity, and a demonstration of placing others in a place of high value.

General Areas of Accountability:

Must conduct business and personal affairs in a manner that is always a credit to the company. Must maintain a good credit rating while employed with the company.

The following HIPAA and Privacy items apply to all positions at Signature Performance:



  • Follow HIPAA guidelines for protecting the privacy and security of sensitive personal and/or health information.
  • Follow Signature expected acceptable use to protect propriety and company owned information.
  • Complete annually required Privacy and Security Training


Performance Management:



  • All Signature Performance associates are subject to regular performance management to determine if skills and training requirements are suitable for the position.


Machines and Equipment:

The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copiers and fax machines.

Physical Activity:



  • The incumbent must be able to finger, grasp, feel, see, sit, hear, and speak. This position is sedentary in nature with minimal lifting requirements.


Working Conditions:

The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required.



  • Remote Eligibility: This position is Ad-hoc remote eligible. Eligibility is determined by Management or Talent Operations.


U.S. Citizenship is Required for All Positions and Work on All Positions Must Be Completed in the Continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.
