Responsibilities

Project Overview:

At REI Systems, the Senior HR Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the organization's human resources initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals and employee satisfaction. You will help drive HR strategies, deliver full-cycle HR services, and collaborate closely with management to ensure a positive employee experience, legal compliance, and a high-performing culture. Your contributions will directly impact REI Systems' mission of providing innovative solutions to Federal clients.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Senior HR Business Partner to join our dynamic HR team. If you're passionate about employee engagement, career progression framework, and HR strategy, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will provide expert HR guidance on various talent management initiatives and day-to-day guidance on HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

    Provide full-cycle human resources support across the organization.
  • Offer day-to-day guidance to employees, and managers on HR queries.
  • Work with leadership on talent management initiatives like creating a job title/career framework.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing legal risks.
  • Analyze trends in retention, employee experience, and HR metrics to recommend systemic improvements.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to managers and employees.
  • Serve as a strategic consultant to manage people-related issues.
  • Assist the Head of HR with special projects and handle unexpected HR challenges with flexibility.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of proven work experience as an HR Business Partner, with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and/or Cognos is a plus but not required.
  • HR certification is desired but not required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Active listening skills with the ability to independently lead HR initiatives.
  • Tactful and diplomatic, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Adept at problem-solving, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion.
  • Responsive, dependable, and flexible in adapting to new challenges.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or other related field.

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance is preferred.

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen or permanent resident)

Location: Hybrid (2 days per week coming to REI Systems Sterling VA Office).
