At Kraton, we make a Positive Difference, and we are looking for individuals who are also looking to make a difference in their jobs, for our customers and to the world. We are looking to hire a Co-Op for the Finance Team at our Jacksonville, Florida office for the Spring 2025 rotation.The Finance Co-op/Internship position serves as a development opportunity with the Global Finance organization of Kraton. The Finance Co-op/Internship will work with our Regional Financial Share Services Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participating in department meetings.
  • Assist with project processes, work instructions and analysis of the performance data.
  • Work on account reconciliation and analyze it.
  • Create journal entries and run reports as needed.
  • Perform other functional job tasks and duties as needed.
  • Learn SAP, BPC and other financial applications and business systems.
  • At the end of the internship to provide a summary of what was learned, any findings and suggestions.

Required Skills

  • Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student pursuing an Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field of study.
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Must have basic proficiency using Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook E-mail, and Project.
  • Must be willing to work with others and have a positive attitude in an office setting.
  • Possess a basic understanding and knowledge of finance management.
  • Learn and apply knowledge and skills to the performance of basic business administration and technical financial management work.
  • Display effective business communication skills, (oral, written, instructional, and presentation) as well the ability to work on cross-functional and/or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Must demonstrate personal initiative to complete work without missing deadlines and communicate and follow-up on the status of projects and other work assignments in a timely manner.
  • Able to organize and prioritize project and work tasks. Project Management skills or classwork preferred but not required.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate (sophomore, junior, senior) student pursuing an Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field of study.
