Capital Group seeks bright, highly motivated and self-directed individuals for Fixed-Income Investment Analyst internship opportunities in Los Angeles and London. As a summer associate, you will conduct fundamental research on issuers in a segment of the bond market and research related fixed-income securities, with the objective of presenting an investment thesis and recommendation to an audience of portfolio managers and analysts. Fixed-Income Summer Associate Opportunities:
Your analysis will incorporate a blend of macro (political, economic, sector/industry) and micro (issuer-specific financial, legal/structural, security-specific) considerations, which you will synthesize with bond valuations. You will be guided in your work by an investment analyst, although you will be largely self-directed in your approach and conclusions. Throughout the summer, you will learn more about investment management, and have access to the industry's most respected investment professionals. Your internship with Capital will provide you with hands-on experience similar to that of a full-time analyst. Qualifications

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
