ISO New England is the not-for-profit, independent system operator responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of electricity in our region and planning for the future of the electric grid. We are at the forefront of New England's ongoing transition to clean energy. As advanced technologies integrate into the power grid, the electricity demand and generation mix of the power system will experience a major shift and require innovative solutions to create a reliable and efficient grid. The Capacity Requirement and Accreditation group within System Planning seeks an innovative individual to meet these exciting challenges. To prepare for and manage the grid of the future, ISO New England is growing! As such, our System Planning team will temporarily relocate to our Windsor campus effective Jan. 1, 2025. How you will make an Impact: The individual will be part of a passionate, focused, and results-oriented team that identifies the system capacity requirements for the Forward Capacity Market and leads the implementation of our new resource accreditation processes. The goal is to implement methodologies that will more appropriately accredit contributions of various technologies to meet the region's resource adequacy and reliability needs.
