Overview

As a Jr. Business Development Analyst, you will be responsible for is to take active actions to identify and capture opportunities that align with company's core competencies and strategic growth direction. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams and is motivated to contribute to a pioneering project that blends the strengths of two leading companies.

About the Role:
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity as part of a joint venture project, designated as a PulseByte project. This role is part of a collaboration between TISTA and Macannie merging our resources and expertise to achieve company's growth in these targeted federal agencies, utilizing the awarded vehicles. This role is a full time position at Macannie, an agile health IT company that is dedicated to health IT transforming and creating great customer experience.



Responsibilities

    Study strategic customer accounts and become knowledgeable about customers' missions, goals, and needs by research, attending industry events, and other methods
  • Conduct research to development or augment the company's growth pipeline
  • Perform capture activities including opportunity analysis and assessment, customer and program understanding, competition analysis, partnering assessment, working with the technical team to develop suitable solutions, and with the rest of the proposal team to deliver proposals
  • Be the company's front runner for customer outreach and interactions
  • Build strategic industry partnerships
  • Continuous improvement of company branding


Qualifications

  • Preferred experience: 1-2 years working with federal agencies such as the IRS, USDA, or the Department of Health and Human Services
  • Effective communications skills including verbally and written; a good listener; strong work ethics; self-propelled
  • Good inter-personal skills and comfortable being in business networking environments
  • Driven and self-starting
  • Eager to learn new customer accounts
  • Persistence and professionalism
  • Flexibility
  • Integrity

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree

Clearance:

  • The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation

Location:

  • Must be local to Washington DC/Baltimore metro area
