Applicants are expected to develop novel methodologies and tools that make the built environment and human populations more resilient to emerging risks.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and will be expected to maintain a rigorous, well-funded program of leading-edge research and contribute to the undergraduate and graduate course curricula. The ability to form large interdisciplinary research teams to address complex problems will be viewed favorably, as well as potential linkages to Cornell Tech (NYC campus).
